Visualising with ComicBook

My most recent app discovery is the photo manipulation tool ComicBook, which organises photos into a comic book interface, complete with customiseable text bubbles, stickers and what not. I tried using this tool to summarise our latest site analysis, and I found great value in this little application for use in some different, quick and fun out-of-the-box visualisations:

I love building models. I love everything that involves creating something, to be fair – but building models, experimenting with materials, adding all those lovely details…It’s fantastic.

Got a couple of pictures from the latest task given, based on drawing exercises. Detail model scale 1:200.

Impressions from Gothenburg

We spent a couple of days in Gothenburg as an inspirational introduction to the course LAA224: shaping with vegetation.

Guided tour through Trädgårdsforeningen park, day one
Highlights were the exquisite use of perennials (Piet Oudolf’s work) and the palm house (where the most exotic species of plants were kept).
