Impressions from Vienna

On our way home from Hungary, we decided to spend the last day in Vienna. Six hours to explore? Let’s go!

After having a burger by the Donau, random subway rides took us to this exciting piece of thermal recycling facility…

We went to church…

Noticed some clever bench solutions…

Spent some minutes of meditation in this sound installation sculpture…

Achieved a proper sense of vertigo by climbing to the very top of this church…

Crashed a wedding…No idea who got wed, but they looked important…

Passed a demonstration by the Pirate Party and Hackers Anonymous…Complete with a rocking set of house music…

Got reminded of which country we were in…

That’s Vienna in record time. It was a beautiful and well-kept city – one gets impressed by the order and tidyness. But where to get a decent cup of coffee in this town? That will be the topic of study for my next visit.
